Ancient Egyptian tales

Once upon a time…

Drawn from: Ancient Egypt, Member of a travelling actors band, Superhuman Helper, like stories called "life and death of a person". Told in English.

In a land where the great river split the desert, a troupe of actors wandered, bringing joy to villages. Among them was Amun, known for his tales. One evening, they reached a village where the people spoke of the "Whispering Sands," a place where the wind carried voices of the departed.

Curious, Amun ventured there alone. As night fell, the sands began to murmur. A voice, gentle yet firm, spoke to him: "Seek the hidden chamber beneath the Great Stone, where the past meets the future."

Guided by the whispers, Amun found a hidden passage. Inside, he discovered a chamber filled with glowing symbols and a small, ancient scroll. It spoke of a balance between life and death, urging the living to cherish their days.

Returning to his troupe, Amun shared the tale. The villagers, moved by the story, embraced a new tradition of honoring their ancestors by telling their tales each year. Amun’s adventure, a testament to the power of stories, lived on through this newfound tradition.
