Once upon a time…
Drawn from: null, null. Told in English.
In the time of our grandfathers’ grandfathers, there was an old mariner named Ilmari. He was known for his tales of the sea, his strong arms now frail and tired. I listened to him by the fire, his voice a soft melody of waves.
One day, Ilmari spoke of a journey he wished to take, to see the northern lights one last time. His bones ached, yet his spirit yearned. We all knew the voyage was perilous, but his eyes, those deep wells of wisdom, would not dim.
We set sail, the wind whispering of legends past. As the days grew colder, Ilmari’s strength waned, yet his heart beat with the rhythm of the sea. When the lights danced, his eyes shone brighter than ever before.
On our return, Ilmari rested, his body frail but his soul fulfilled. He taught us that while the body ages, the heart’s adventures never cease. And so, his spirit lives on, carried by the stories we share, the tales we keep alive.
Did it land?
