Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Brigands, Trickster, Man vs Time Conflict. Told in English.
In a land of misty hills and ancient stones, a band of adventurers sought a treasure said to hold the power of time. Legends spoke of the Moonlit Clock, hidden deep in the Echoing Caves. It was said that whoever possessed the clock could bend time to their will, granting youth or wisdom as they wished.
The adventurers, driven by dreams and desires, ventured into the caves, guided by the echoes of an old folk song that only the brave could hear. As they journeyed deeper, the air grew thick with whispers of the past. Shadows of lost travelers danced on the walls, a reminder of time's relentless march.
Their leader, a wise woman named Elara, warned of the clock's cost. "For each moment gained, another is lost," she said. Yet, the lure was too strong.
Finally, they reached the heart of the cave, where the Moonlit Clock stood, glowing softly. As they touched it, time rippled around them. Some gained years of youth, others, moments of insight. But the echoes grew louder, and they knew their time was spent.
Leaving the cave, they understood the true treasure was not in bending time, but in cherishing each fleeting moment. The Moonlit Clock remained, waiting for the next to come, as the echoes sang on.
Did it land?
