Once upon a time…

In a land where the sun rarely sets, I, a wise old raven, watched over the fjords. Tales spoke of the Midnight Mist, a mysterious fog that danced through the valleys, carrying whispers of ancient secrets. One night, as the mist rolled in, a young fisherman named Eirik ventured out, seeking the legendary Silver Salmon, said to grant wishes.
The mist thickened, and the sea turned restless. Eirik's boat swayed as shadows in the fog began to form. They were spirits of old sailors, lost to the sea, guiding him deeper into the unknown. I cawed a warning, but the mist muffled my cries.
Eirik, determined, cast his net. The sea roared, and a great wave rose, threatening to swallow him whole. In that moment, he understood the spirits' warning: nature's gifts come with a price.
He released the net, and the sea calmed. The mist lifted, revealing a safe path home. Eirik returned, wiser, knowing some mysteries are best left untouched, and the Midnight Mist holds secrets only for those who listen.
