Once upon a time…

In the heart of a city where gold domes kissed the sky, lived Eudokia, a skilled weaver. Her tapestries were said to hold whispers of the past. Yet, within her, a storm brewed. Tradition held that each spring, the city's women wove one thread of their hair into a communal tapestry, believed to bind their fates to the city's prosperity.
One spring, Eudokia hesitated. She feared losing herself in the weave, her identity swallowed by duty. That night, a shadowy figure appeared in her dreams, a woman with eyes like molten silver, offering a spindle of moonlight. "Weave your own story," the figure urged.
Driven by this vision, Eudokia wove a secret tapestry, each thread a fragment of her desires and fears. As she worked, the city faced a strange drought. Whispers spread that her defiance had angered the gods. Torn, Eudokia completed both tapestries. When the rains returned, she realized the shadowy figure was her own reflection, guiding her to balance duty with self.
Eudokia's legend endured, a tale of finding one's thread amidst the weave of life.
