Once upon a time…

In the far reaches of the stars, where humans had settled on a lush, green planet, there was a dense forest known as the Whispering Woods. The settlers told tales of the forest's unseen dwellers, spirits that protected the ancient trees. Every year, during the Time of Silence, the winds would cease, and the forest would fall eerily quiet.

One brave soul, a young explorer named Jax, ventured into the woods during this time, seeking the legendary Heartstone, said to grant wisdom. As Jax tread deeper, the silence pressed in, and shadows danced just beyond sight. The air shimmered, and whispers filled his mind, not with words, but with feelings of warning.

Ignoring the unseen voices, Jax pressed on until he reached a clearing. There, the Heartstone glowed softly. But as he reached for it, the ground trembled, and ghostly figures emerged, their presence felt more than seen. Realizing his folly, Jax retreated, leaving the Heartstone untouched.

Returning to the settlement, Jax shared his tale, and the settlers honored the spirits with offerings, ensuring peace between man and the unseen.
