Prehistoric tales

Once upon a time…

Drawn from: Bronze Age Collapse, any period, Mentor, looking for an old friend. Told in English.

In a time long past, when the great cities crumbled, a village by the sea faced a mystery. Each year, the moon turned red, and the villagers believed it was a sign. Their friend, the wise elder named Elpis, had vanished during the last red moon.

The villagers gathered, deciding to seek Elpis. They ventured through the dense forests, where whispers of ancient trees spoke of hidden paths. The journey was long, but the villagers were determined, guided by the stars and the tales of old.

One night, as the red moon rose, they found a hidden valley. There, a strange glow emanated from a circle of stones. In the center stood Elpis, unharmed, weaving a tapestry of light. He explained that the red moon revealed the world's hidden truths, and he had been learning its secrets.

The villagers returned home, their hearts light with joy and newfound wisdom. The red moon, once feared, was now a symbol of hope, a reminder of the bond between them and their cherished friend.
