Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Asia, Danilov Ballads, Trickster, something suitable with period. Told in English.
In a land of sweeping winds and rising sun, a humble family lived at the edge of a vast, whispering forest. The father was known for his wisdom, the mother for her gentle heart, and their only son for his curious spirit. One day, the boy found a map hidden in a hollow tree, its corners worn but its promise clear: a treasure lay deep within the forest.
With his family's blessing, the boy set forth, guided by the map. The trees seemed to sway with whispers of old stories as he traveled, shadows dancing like spirits. Along the way, he met a fox who gifted him a feather, saying it would show truth in darkness.
When night fell thick, the feather glowed, revealing a hidden path. At the journey's end, he found not gold but an ancient stone, carved with tales of his ancestors. Returning home, the family gathered around, understanding the true treasure was the connection to their past.
From that day, they shared the stories, their bonds growing as strong as the roots of the great trees.
Did it land?
