Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Bronze Age Collapse, Carpenter's Story, Guide, newcomer vs residents. Told in English.
In a village by the great sea, people lived quietly, tending fields and fishing. One day, a stranger arrived on a ship, saying he came from a land where the sun was always kind. He wore strange clothes and spoke in a different tongue, but his smile was warm.
The villagers were curious and wary. Some thought he brought good fortune, others whispered that trouble followed him like a shadow. The stranger offered to help mend nets and carve wood. His skills were greater than any they'd seen.
Days passed, and the stranger's kindness won many hearts. But one morning, a storm unlike any before swept the village. Crops lay ruined, boats shattered like shells. The villagers blamed the newcomer, their fear louder than reason.
The stranger, with tears in his eyes, took his carved totems and offered them to the sea. The waves calmed, and slowly, the village healed. Trust was forged anew, and the stranger was no longer a stranger. Together, they rebuilt, stronger than the tides, with hope in every heart.
