Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Island of Utopia, Native American Myths, Mentor, Man vs Meaninglessness Conflict. Told in English.
In a time when the world was still young and full of mystery, I, Raven, flew over a land where the waters sang and the winds whispered secrets. One day, I saw a young man sitting by the river, eyes lost in the distance. He seemed heavy with questions, drifting like a leaf in the current of life.
I swooped down, curious. "What troubles you?" I asked, my voice cutting through the silence. He sighed, "I seek meaning, but all feels empty. The sun rises and sets, yet my spirit remains in shadow."
I thought of the great sky, ever constant yet ever changing. "Seek not answers in the shadows, but in the dance of the leaves, the song of the birds," I cawed. "Life's meaning is not in grand things but in simple joys."
The man's eyes brightened, understanding dawning like the sun. He smiled and began to listen—to the river's murmur, the trees' whispers. His heart found peace, and as he walked away, I soared into the sky, knowing I had shared a truth as old as time itself.
