In a land where the rivers flowed like silver threads through dark forests, there stood a mighty fortress. Its stone walls whispered tales of warriors and chieftains. In those days, the land was ruled by a wise king, a giant of a man with hair like the sun. He was loved by all for his fairness.
One winter, a fierce wolf, larger than a bear, began to haunt the villages. It was said the beast was sent by dark spirits, angered by the king's prosperity. The villagers lived in fear, their fires burning low as the wolf's howl echoed.
The king called upon a brave youth, known for his keen eye and steady hand. Armed with a spear forged from the iron of fallen stars, the youth ventured into the heart of the forest.
For three days, he tracked the beast. On the fourth, he found it by the river's edge. With a swift throw, the spear found its mark.
The wolf fell, and the land knew peace once more. The king praised the youth, and they celebrated, knowing the spirits were appeased.
