Ancient Egyptian tales

Once upon a time…

Drawn from: Ancient Egypt, Viking Age story, Hero, Woman vs Meaninglessness Conflict. Told in English.

In the land where the Nile flows wide,

Under the sun's relentless pride,

A village stood, where sands did dance,

In Egypt's heart, a timeless trance.

There lived a woman, fierce and bold,

With eyes like stars, and tales of old,

She wandered 'neath the holy sky,

Seeking truths that never die.

The gods of Egypt watched her roam,

From temple steps to pharaoh's throne,

She asked the winds, she asked the sand,

For meaning she could understand.

In shadows where the scarabs creep,

She dreamt of answers, in her sleep,

The Sphinx did smile with knowing grace,

As stars aligned in heaven's space.

Yet meaning hid in Ra's great light,

In mysteries spun by endless night,

Her heart, a vessel, filled with fire,

A quest unyielding, fierce desire.

Through whispers of the ancients' lore,

Her spirit soared, forevermore,

For in the search, life found its song,

In Egypt's land, where she belonged.

Her village watched, with eyes that knew,

In meaning's quest, she found the true,

And so, the Nile's untamed embrace,

Held her tale in its timeless grace.
