Once upon a time…

In a land where mountains pierced the sky and rivers flowed with ancient tales, there lived a woman named Mei. Mei worked in the fields, her hands as swift as the rivers. Her heart, however, yearned for the eternal beauty of the moonlit mountains.

One day, a mysterious wanderer spoke of a hidden spring atop the highest peak. “Drink from it,” he said, “and time will no longer touch you.” The promise of immortality tugged at Mei's adventurous spirit.

With determination, she embarked on the arduous journey. Through forests wrapped in mist and along cliffs kissed by clouds, Mei climbed higher than mortal dreams dared reach. She faced fierce storms and deceptive paths, but her resolve did not break.

At last, she stood before the spring. Yet, as she gazed into its depths, Mei saw her reflection, not bound by time but by the world she loved. Realizing the price of eternity, she turned away, choosing a life filled with fleeting moments over endless solitude.

Returning home, Mei embraced each day, knowing she had found true immortality in the stories she would pass on, like seeds scattered by the wind.
