Once upon a time…

I once lived in a time when the seas were both our road and our home. We paddled our longboats, where the water met the sky, chasing the sun. One morning, our chief spoke of a distant island, said to hide a giant's treasure. Driven by tales of gold and glory, we set sail with hearts full of dreams.
The sea, like a living beast, challenged us with waves and wind, yet our spirits soared. Days passed, and a thick mist wrapped the world in a shroud. Suddenly, we saw it—an island, crowned with ancient trees and echoing the songs of unseen birds.
We landed, forging through the forest with eyes wide with wonder. There, in a clearing, stood a stone circle, each rock taller than a man. Inside, lay a chest carved with runes. Our hands trembled as we opened it, revealing not gold, but maps and strange tools.
It was knowledge the giant left—a treasure beyond coin. We returned home, richer in wisdom, our hearts forever changed by the sea's gift.
Did it land?
