Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Ancient Egypt, Kalavela Myth, Hero, man vs immortality. Told in English.
In a sun-baked land, where the river carried life, I journeyed through golden sands. Stories whispered of a glorious realm where gods walked among us. One day, seeking the secret of unending life, I ventured to a grand temple. Its towering pillars watched me as I entered.
Inside, a sage, eyes deep as the night sky, awaited. "Why seek what is not ours?" he asked. I spoke of fearing the end, wanting to bask in the eternal light. The sage smiled, guiding me to a garden. Here, time seemed to pause, flowers bloomed forever, yet no bird sang.
“Drink from the eternal well,” he offered. But as I reached, I felt the emptiness—a life without end, yet without change. I realized the dance of days held beauty in their fleeting moments.
I thanked the sage, leaving the garden unchanged. The river’s song was sweeter now, each sunrise a precious gift. In chasing what was beyond, I found the true treasure within—the fleeting yet vibrant tale of life.
