Once upon a time…
Drawn from: compatible with period, a story set in 500 Years after the apocalypse, Hero, something suitable with geography. Told in English.
I was but a young lad when I encountered the old traveler by the river's edge. He spoke of a hidden land, beyond the great mountains, where the ground gleamed like silver under the moon's gaze. I was captivated and set off at dawn, with only a stick and a loaf of bread. The journey was long, my feet sore from the rocky path.
Days turned to nights, and finally, I reached a dark forest, where trees whispered stories of old. A raven, black as night, perched above, guiding me along a narrow trail. The forest opened to a valley, its air thick with legends. There, in a grove bathed in sunlight, lay the gleaming ground. I bent down to touch it and felt warmth and life, a reminder of what once was and could be again.
I returned to my village with tales of the gleaming ground and its promise. The people listened, eyes wide with hope, as they dreamed of a future beyond the mountains, where past and present danced together under the moonlit sky.
