Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Seljuk Empire, Afzelius-Gerger Ballads, Trickster, something suitable with geography. Told in English.
In the land where the sun sets against high mountains, I once roamed with the promise of adventure whispering upon the desert wind. One day, as I traveled the dusty roads, a merchant spoke of a hidden treasure buried deep in the ancient sands. Tales said that within a forgotten oasis, a map lay etched on a stone, leading to riches beyond measure.
With naught but my trusty steed and a heart full of courage, I ventured forth, crossing endless dunes under the blazing sun. By moonlight, the oasis revealed itself, glistening like a gem amongst the arid sea. There, carved upon an ancient rock, was the map, guiding my steps through the labyrinth of time.
The journey was perilous, filled with shifting sands and unseen shadows. Yet, guided by the stars and my unwavering spirit, I found the treasure—a chest of gleaming gold and precious stones. As the first light of dawn kissed the horizon, I stood victorious, the wealth of legends now cradled in my hands. With fortune in my grasp, I turned homeward, my tale ready to be told.
Did it land?
