Once upon a time…
Drawn from: Byzantine Empire, Danilov Ballads, Guide, Man vs Nature Conflict. Told in English.
You find yourself at the edge of a sprawling wilderness, where golden leaves whisper secrets. The elders warned you of the spirits within, but you have no choice. A treasure lies hidden, said to bring prosperity to villages far and wide.
As you step into the forest, the sun's light fades, and shadows stretch like fingers. The air grows heavy with a sweet, strange scent. You remember the stories of strange creatures, but you press on, heart pounding like a drum.
The path twists and turns, and soon you're lost. The trees seem to close in, their branches clawing at the sky. Fear grips you, but the thought of failing your people steels your resolve.
A rustle catches your ear. You turn to see a majestic stag, eyes like molten gold, standing before you. It bows its head, beckoning. You follow, unsure, yet hopeful.
The stag leads you to a clearing where sunlight pours like rain. In the center, a chest bursts with gold and jewels. Relief floods you. As you gather your prize, the forest hums a song of peace. You return, a hero.
Did it land?
