But all was silent now, save for the wind's mournful song. Ruins and memories met his gaze, and he walked through them, touched by the past yet hopeful for the future. As the sun dipped low, casting the village in golden hues, Kenji found a hidden spring, its waters clear and cool. He drank deeply, feeling the stories of old seep into his soul.
