Once upon a time…

Drawn from: null, man chasing immortality. Told in English.

In a time before memory, in a land where the sun kissed the fields and the sea whispered secrets to the wind, I knew a man named Rurik. He was strong, with eyes like stormy skies and a heart restless as the wild horses of the steppe. Rurik longed not just for adventure, but for life that knew no end.

One night, sitting by the fire, an old wanderer shared tales of a hidden isle. There, a spring flowed with the water of forever. Rurik set sail, chasing the whispers of the sea. He battled fierce storms and outsmarted trickster spirits.

At last, he found the isle, and the spring glistened beneath the moon. But as Rurik drank, he felt not strength, but a heaviness, a longing for the life he'd left behind. Immortality, he learned, was not a blessing, but a chain.

Returning home, Rurik cherished each sunrise, each moment, finding immortality not in endless days, but in the stories told by fireside, as I share with you now.
