Once upon a time…

Drawn from: null, Woman vs Society Conflict. Told in English.

I was young, a daughter of the wild north, where the woods whispered and the lakes shimmered. The village elders watched me with wary eyes, as I walked paths untrodden by women. They said I defied the laws of our land, but my heart sought the old ways, the secrets of the earth and sky.

One day, I stumbled upon a hidden glade, where the air hummed with mysteries. There, I found an ancient stone, carved with runes. I traced them with my fingers and felt a power flow through me—a guardian's strength.

The villagers grew anxious, spoke of curses, and shunned me. But when the long night came and the bitter winds howled, they turned to me. I stood before them, with the courage of the forest in my veins, and called upon the old magic to shield us.

As dawn broke, the village was safe, wrapped in warmth. The elders nodded in respect, and I knew I had found my place. I was no longer just a voice in the woods, but a keeper of its ancient song.
