Once upon a time…
Drawn from: null, the sentence: once you stray from the path you are lost entirely. Told in English.
In a time long past, I lived in a village nestled between mountains and sea. Our people honored the spirits of water and land, believing they guided our journeys. One misty morning, I set out into the forest to gather herbs, clutching the path’s memory in my mind.
The fog thickened, and the path blurred. My heart raced as I realized I had strayed. I wandered deeper into the woods, meeting a fox with eyes like embers. It spoke, its voice smooth and wise, warning, “Once you stray from the path, you are lost entirely.”
Desperate, I asked for help. The fox grinned, offering guidance to find my way back, but only if I promised to return with tales of distant lands. I agreed, and it led me through the winding trees, the fog lifting with each step.
Back in the village, I shared my story, the fox's words echoing in my mind. From then on, I followed paths with care, knowing that losing one’s way can lead to unexpected adventures, and sometimes, new beginnings.
Did it land?
