Once upon a time…
Drawn from: null, man vs immortality. Told in English.
In a time before the written word, there lived a blacksmith named Kidar. He crafted tools and weapons with skill unmatched, but his heart yearned for more. One evening, a wise traveler shared tales of a grand treasure hidden beyond the mountains, said to grant endless life.
Kidar set out, driven by dreams of immortality. He journeyed through parched deserts, crossed treacherous rivers, and climbed jagged peaks. Each step brought him closer to the fabled treasure.
Upon reaching a sacred grove, Kidar found a golden chalice resting on a stone altar. A voice whispered through the trees, warning him of the burden of eternal life. Kidar, however, was resolute. He reached for the chalice, but as he grasped it, visions of endless solitude filled his mind.
Realizing the truth, he left the chalice and returned to his village. There, he shared tales of his journey, crafting them into legends that would last longer than any life. Kidar found contentment in his fleeting days, understanding that true immortality lay in stories remembered by others.
Did it land?
