Once upon a time…

Drawn from: null, null. Told in English.

In a time of simple huts and roaring fires, I journeyed far north, where icy winds whispered secrets. There, I met a wanderer, Harald by name, who defied the chill of age. Forever young, he seemed, with a strength unyielding, a gift from a mysterious woodland spirit he had once helped. But his eternal life bore a price—endless solitude.

Harald took me deep into the woods, where a grand oak stood, ancient and wise. Beneath its sprawling branches, he told me of his heart's burden. "To live on while all I love fades," he confessed, "is a curse disguised as a blessing."

Determined, we sought the spirit. Under a moonlit sky, I spoke on his behalf, pleading for release. The spirit appeared, understanding shining in her eyes. With a gentle nod, she lifted the veil of immortality.

As dawn broke, Harald felt the warmth of age touch him. He faced the sun, content, knowing his time would end, but his spirit would live on in the tales we tell.
